I have an SP135+, a slightly newer version of the 125+. It usually feeds OK but every once in a while it will go in fits and starts. The problem is usually too much pressure on the nut (maybe a wing nut) that holds the wire spool in place. It could possibly be that you liner is kinked from being coiled too tightly. Another thing to try first is when you are welding is keep the cable to the gun straight as possible. Higher guage wire doesn't travel around curves well as lighter gauge. It works fine with my Lincoln Innershield flux-core 0.035" diameter wire on my Lincoln SP-125 Plus welder with the standard Magnum 100L gun. Plenty of extra length--easy to cut-to-length with side cutters. The 10-24 set screw that holds the original liner in place was too long for the new liner so I substituted a shorter one.Start with the drive roll pressure very loose. Increase the pressure only until it is very difficult to stop the wire from feeding out of the contact tip. Use a pliers or block of wood to try and stop the wire from feeding.
