Unless you are using really weak weapons, they are pretty easy to kill in my experience. You should be able to get some attacks in right after they reveal themselves and before they flip backwards. They have really low HP, i usually kill them in a couple of hits now. There's the exception to the bigger ones.. Lifeselector.com
